Award Criterion

First Semester Academic Recognition


Honor Roll:  Overall Grade Point Average from Fall Semester of 3.5 to 3.99.

4.0 Grade Point Average:  Student receives an A in all 6 classes for Fall Semester

Perseverance: These students received 5 or more “Outstanding” marks on their First Semester report card in the area of Work Habits.

Outstanding CitizenshipThese students received 5 or more “Outstanding” marks on their First Semester Report in the area of Citizenship.
 


End of Year Academic Recognition


Presidential Gold Award:      3.5 to 4.0 Overall Grade Point Average for the First Semester and scored a Standard Exceeded on last year’s ELA or Math CAASPP. The Presidential Gold Award is only the exiting 8th graders. 

Presidential Silver Award:  3.5 to 4.0 Overall Grade Point Average for First Semester.  The Presidential Silver Award is only for the exiting 8th graders. 

Perseverance: These students received 5 or more “Outstanding” marks on their most recent progress report in the area of Work Habits.

Outstanding CitizenshipThese students received 5 or more “Outstanding” marks on their most recent progress report/report card  in the area of Citizenship.

Perfect AttendanceThese students were enrolled, present and on time for every class period every day of the school year and/or have made up any absences with Saturday School Attendance.  

Absences for school sponsored events or field trips do not disqualify students from receiving perfect attendance recognition.
